TLE has just undergone a by-law review from the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sports along with all of the literacy councils across Quebec. Thanks to McGill ProBono students Eric and Julia who did all of the research/recommendations for us, our ByLaw Committee and Board of Directors, our new by-laws are ready for presentation/approval at our next AGM October 19th at 5:30 p.m. The by-laws are posted on the TLE office bulletin board or you can request an electronic version from Karen. We are calling for nominations for volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors for a term of two years. There are approximately six meetings per year, including the Annual General Meeting. Positions open for this year’s Board of Directors are: President, Secretary and Board Director.
